Kit that has been field-tested across the globe
Share
When we say our kit is built for the field, we mean every field, from the Arctic to the desert, from the Baltic to the Gulf. Over the years, we've had the privilege of seeing CH Tactical kit worn and trusted by serving British Armed Forces personnel on operations and exercises across the world. Here's a snapshot of where our kit has been put to the test.
Kenya
British troops deployed to Kenya for training exercises with the British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) operate in some of the most demanding terrain on the planet - high altitude, intense heat, and unpredictable conditions. Personnel from units including the The Rifles, Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment, Guards and the Royal Anglian Regiment have used CH Tactical kit here to manage the demands of extended field exercises, where kit failure simply isn't an option.
Mali
As part of the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) Op Newcombe, British personnel faced extreme heat, dust, and the logistical challenges of operating far from established supply chains. Soldiers from across the infantry and Army Air Corps were among those who relied on lightweight, durable, Virtus-compatible kit that proved its worth in one of the world's most austere environments.
Estonia
On NATO's eastern flank, British troops serving with the Enhanced Forward Presence battlegroup in Estonia face a very different challenge: cold, wet, and heavily forested terrain. Troops needing kit that performs in low temperatures during high-readiness operations alongside allied forces.
USA
Joint exercises and exchange programmes with US forces have seen British personnel bring their own kit across the Atlantic. Soldiers from units including the Royal Anglian, The Rifles and Royal Marines have used our kit alongside some of the best-equipped forces in the world - a testament to the quality and compatibility we build into every product.
And back home
Of course, the journey always comes back to the UK — whether that's Salisbury Plain, Brecon, or Catterick. The same kit trusted on operations worldwide is used week in, week out on exercises and training across Britain.
What our customers say
Don't just take my word for it. Here's just a few of what my customers have said about the kit:
"Really good piece of kit. I am out on Op Cabrit, and it's just what I need with all the warm kit we wear on exercise. I think you need to do more pictures of it because it's way better than what I thought it was going to be."
— Christopher, Verified Customer
"Great value for money! All the functions of other cummerbunds with the added bonus of tidying up and allowing use of the side plate wings!"
— Fg Off Pickles, Verified Customer
"Exactly what we needed — counterweight is spot on and can't fault it. Fits to the helmet so much better than the issue one and it's made really well. Would definitely recommend!"
— M.B., Verified Customer (Counterweight Pouch)
"Bombproof kit and very responsive to messages. Helped me select the right size and answered questions regarding pouch fixtures etc."
— Will, Verified Customer
Built and trusted by serving personnel
I don't design kit for a brochure. I design it for the people who actually carry it - in the rain, in the heat, under weight, under pressure. The fact that my kit has been used across five continents by serving British Armed Forces personnel is something I'm genuinely proud of.
If you've used our kit on operations and want to share your experience, get in touch or better yet leave your feedback on your purchase. I'm always open to honest feedback.
